Terry Sievers, MS, RN is the Senior Vice President, Quality for Riverside Health System in Virginia. Terry holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Boston University, and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Simmons College. Terry completed the year long Baldrige Executive Fellows Program in March 2026 with a project focused on improving quality data standardization and visualization.
At Riverside Health, Terry oversees quality, patient safety, service excellence and patient experience, infection prevention and control, accreditation and regulatory readiness, care management, utilization management, the physician advisor program, quality data, and analytics and coordinates the Riverside Health System’s Board Quality, Safety, Service and Community Benefits Committee.
During her tenure at Riverside, Terry inspired and cultivated transformation in quality, the quality management system, in patient and team member safety, service excellence and patient experience with a focus on fair and just culture and using evidence-based care to accelerate improvement. Over the past six years, the focused, intentional, data informed and evidence-based approach to improvement has yielded significant and sustained improvements across the health system. Terry supports inquiry and innovation, to inspire and drive improvement across the health system.
Ms. Sievers and her husband, Tony, reside in Yorktown, have three sons, four grandchildren, and enjoy biking, boating, and traveling.
