Renee (Chun) Dalrymple

Senior Manager, Organized Play Product Operations and Technology
Renee has spent most of her career taking a given role and responsibility and growing it organically through assessing pain points and delivering solutions that scale. Her career consists of three organizations: Nordstrom, where she spent 17.5 years working in all facets of the business but ended her career there as a Sr. Technical Program Manager who managed a team of engineers and business analysts. She then spent a few years at Bartell Drugs, another family-owned century+ old company in the PNW before starting her journey at The Pokemon Company international. In her last nine years at The Pokemon Company international, she was responsible for starting up two sub-departments from scratch: [enterprise] Business Applications and most recently introducing Product Operations to the Organized Play department.
Renee is new to Baldrige Performance Excellence. She was introduced to the framework through her aunt who was the Controller at Xerox in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ginny Serikaku over a decade ago, and her new assignment in Product Operations for Organized Play will allow her to apply the framework to a department within her organization, with a goal to expand the practice within the company!
Renee lives in Issaquah, Washington. She is married to a Chief Building Engineer, James; has two daughters – 7-year-old Elsie and 4-year-old Emily (goes by Emi). She has a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd named Lana. In “the before times” (before kids), Renee loved photography, hiking, and cross-country road trips. In “the today times”, Renee is just keeping her head above water with her young family. Outside of work she is attending Western Governor’s University for a B.S. in User Experience Design, “for fun”. She co-founded an Employee Resource Group for Parents and Caregivers at The Pokemon Company international which she ran for a couple of years before handing off the baton! Renee also has an Airbnb in Phoenix, Washington, a central point between all of the which she uses at least annually to visit her brother and his family.
