Dayana Ruiz, CPP
Renew Behavioral Health and Wellness
Performance Excellence & Communications Manager
Dayana Ruiz is rooted in the experience of growing up as a migrant youth in an agricultural community, which shaped her commitment to service, clarity, and practical problem-solving. She works at the intersection of organizational performance and community connection, using the PuMP methodology to help teams focus on meaningful measures, strengthen processes, and turn goals into steady progress.
Her background spans performance improvement, external communications, community relations, and county-wide prevention work. In her role supporting organizational public relations, she specializes in external messaging—helping rebuild trust, improving public understanding, and strengthen outreach efforts in rural areas. During a period of strained public perception, Dayana supported efforts that led to stronger relationships, clearer messaging, and a successful rebranding effort.
Her earlier work also included serving as a Prevention Specialist that coordinated substance-use prevention efforts across the county and supporting local coalitions. Across roles, she has led projects in onboarding redesign, youth development, leadership, process mapping, mental health related trainings, presentations, and cross-community partnerships. Her day-to-day work draws on writing, designing materials, facilitation, coaching, project planning, and building practical processes that help teams communicate and function more effectively.
Beyond her professional work, Dayana’s dedication to her community is reflected in her service on the Quincy School District Board of Directors and formerly on the Moses Lake Community Health Center Board. She has also been a youth group leader in her Spanish-speaking church, supported community youth service projects, and is a former Rotarian. Both her personal and professional paths reflect her commitment to helping people, improving systems, and strengthening the communities that shaped her.
